Business rates relief / Exemptions
Business rates exemptions
A business rates exemption removes the rates charge entirely for specific property types, including agricultural land and buildings, places of worship, and certain properties used by disabled people.
Certain properties pay no business rates at all. Agricultural land and buildings, fish farms, places of public religious worship and properties used for the welfare of disabled people are among those fully exempt.
